This page describes what ParkSpotter actually does when you load a page.

What the site serves

ParkSpotter is a set of static pages. It does not ask you to create an account, does not run a contact form, and does not set or read cookies of its own.

Scripts the pages load

Pages load only these two scripts from this site: /assets/freshness.js, which fetches /data/osm-freshness.json from this site and displays a data-freshness note, and /assets/city-finder.js on city pages, which fetches the city's file under /data/cities/ from this site and renders a facility list with search and filter controls. Both requests go to this site only, and neither script reads or stores information about you.

Third parties

Pages request fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com); those requests are subject to Google's own policies. Pages also link to openstreetmap.org; following a link takes you to that site and its policies. ParkSpotter runs no analytics and no advertising.

Server logs

The web server that delivers these pages may record ordinary request logs, such as the requested URL and the requesting address, under its own hosting policy.
